Is getting a crib bumper at 11 months a good idea? Every night for a period of time, sometimes twice, I hope not more, you can hear a “bang bang bang” coming from my baby’s room. He’s asleep but hitting his head/body against the crib repeatedly for about 10 minutes or so. It sounds horrible. I was thinking of getting a mesh bumper for the crib? Has anyone else gone through this? I can’t imagine a bumper would be a hazard at this age, he is almost 1? Thanks!
I would think the mesh bumper should be fine, especially given his age. It is fairly thin, so it won’t cushion him against those hits, but maybe at least will lessen the blow.
do u mommy's think a crib bumper is necessary for a newborn
i know theres a debate in whether children need them in cribs at all
but i mean come on i dont think an infant is going to get their hands or feet caught in the bars
i want to buy one but i dont know if its necessary

I need help ladies... I don't feel my sons crib is safe anymore... he's moving a lot... he's pulling bumpers, sticking his legs and feet over the bumpers and through the bars(he would do that bumper or no bumper so i don't want to hear how they're unsafe) ... rolling a lot and on his tummy a lot... but I don't want him sleeping with me every night...
Crib bumpers? Yes or No?
Are mesh crib bumpers necessary?? I was thinking only so little one doesn't get there legs or arms caught?
I’ve been using a mesh bumper since my son was 6 months and it’s fine. He likes to sleep up against the side of the crib and I think it’s more comfortable with a bumper than just plain wood slats.
