How long is best before getting pregnant after a cesarean?
@briannalynn547, oh ok
I normally just go straight to my OBGYN and we take it from there
But I’m sure everywhere is different
@queenbitch, when I lived in nj it was like that but since it’s my first pregnancy here and my first ever appointment at this ob it’s different I guess . Cause I moved here in April
@briannalynn547, I use to live in LA and now I moved to Hemet so everything is different .. I have no plans on getting pregnant but if it happens it will be a new experience out here
What about if you get pregnant mistakenly while you are still healing from e- section it’s not even month yet ! Is it called high risk??
I assume so . I think if it’s any less then 6 months it’s considered high risk!
@salmarahman09, I think it’s just because the risk of the wound opening or getting infected ! Getting pregnant a month PP is risky weather you had a c section or vaginal
Generally between pregnancies you should wait 18-24 months. I’m not certain when trying for a vbac if things change for you.
Doctors say 1 year if you want a vbac I agree with @savana_h, wait at least 2 years and talk to your doctor because some won’t do them at all.
Yeah I just moved here and any doctor I’ve talked to here says I’d have to have like 0 problems in my pregnancy cause I’ve always been so high risk and had so many issues :/ not hopeful that anyone will try w me
Just my personal opinion, if you want to try for a VBAC wait at least 2 years.
I’ve looked into places around here and if you have a history of high risk pregnancy’s and stuff they won’t let you try for a Vbac unless you have a 100% picture perfect pregnancy pretty much. I’ve been pregnant 3 times , 2 miscarriages and my sons pregnancy was so high risk and I had so many issues . So I have little hope anyone will chance it with me 😣
I was told 1-2 years is fine .. I’ve had 3 c sections
Not by choice
I tried doing a VBAC but my kids had other plans
