My 8 year old daughter has been complaining of her head hurting lately. Thursday she had to leave dance early because it was hurting too bad and then today she was at a friends house and just laid around because her head hurt again. She does have glasses and I do get chronic migraines. So I am unsure if I should just watch to see if it keeps happening, take her to her pedi or see if her glasses prescription needs to be changed? I don’t like seeing her like this, it’s so out of the norm for her.

I’d start with the glasses and then if it doesn’t need to be changed then make an appt with your pedi. I hope she feels better soon!
Thank you! I will go ahead and schedule an appointment Monday! Ive never had a child so young complain of headaches so wasn’t sure the route that should be taken.
@benjaminbutton, I’m guessing your pedi would probably wanna rule that out before sending her for further testing so it’s a good idea to get that looked at first. Good luck!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder of...

If it’s her glasses her eyes will hurt too my left contact is wrong script now and I always have a headache on that side starting in my eye. What’s the location of the headache?
