So how many mamas have had the epidural. Hiw long ago? What was your experience? How did you feel after? How do you feel now?
@raisingmyblueyedrainbowbaby @imback @mommyof.3 @momesis @flamingfiremom @fakoffyeh @squishymommy1 @guess_who_bish @birdknees117 @lucky18 @supermomof4 @cheetahgurl420 @womanbehindthetrucker thank you. Lots of ups and downs. I had my first 2 natural. I had an iv pain med last time, but it made me so tired, i almost fell asleep while trying to push. I had nooo energy, no strength. So i want to avoid it this time n possibly try the epidural
One of my old friends where on somthing like that and she couldn't even walk from it she went to the bathroom and lost her ber that was right in front of her I was like ahhh hellnah I'll never do whatever that was
Both of my experiences were pretty good. Not painful just shocking the second time when it made my whole right side tingle but other than that great. I was able to stand up and walk to the bathroom after delivering each time. BUT a few weeks after each my back started to hurt. I still have pain but I also broke my tailbone before my first and didn't know. It had been years before. I don't regret them though because i wouldn't have been able to be calm and push.
it worked great for me I couldn’t feel anything at all .. getting it didn’t feel good tho felt like they were drilling a hole in my spine but it wasn’t really a painful feeling and the back labor contractions while getting it is wat hurt a lot .. after I got it wore off my back was sore for a few days but never had any back issues
My first epidural was okay, but they did insert incorrectly and not care. Left me very numb and later itleft me in pain for a while. I did not enjoy getting to really feel the experience of giving birth is how numb I was. With my second they gave me too much and baby started having heart rate drops while my blood pressure was plummeting to the point of barely staying conscious. I regret ever having an epidural with them. My third pregnancy I went without epidural and it was a smooth and fast labour with zero problems.
Isn’t the point of the epidural to numb u so u don’t feel anything.. lol I loved not being able to feel anything while pushing
@flamingfiremom I was too numb. 😂 like the staff was annoyed I wasn't able to push. I couldn't feel anything at all. Hours later I couldn't feel anything still to even move. I was dead weight numb.
I had an epidural with my first. They punctured my spinal column and I was leaking spinal fluid. It took 3 blood patches to fix it and I was in excruciating pain for weeks. My back still hurts almost 19 years later. Never had another one.
I’ve had four two with one kid because it wore off but the last one was great after the first two my back killed me u shouldn’t be able to feel any pain if there good at it
I had 3 out of my 4 kids. My first was the worst experience ever but the last 2 went really well and I have no other issues.
I had one 9 months ago. I didnt even I got it until the guy said all done. I feel fine now. Never had any back issues
Almost 3 years ago and it was a life saver puked a few times from it but then again everything makes me puke didn't have Any side effects just took alot of pressure away I was also walking within 1 hour of having her
I've had one all four times, last one, 3 years ago, my experience all four times was the same, it did the job, afterwards once it wore off the usual after birth cramps and aches and pains. Now? The same I did after the previous ones, nothing different, alot of ladies are gonna probably comment; back pain. The back pain you experience after giving birth isnt due to the epidural but due to the stress put on your back and body during pregnancy and labor. ❤
Thank you. I still have some back pain from when Liam was born. And i didnt have an epidural
I had one both times. The last one I had was definitely better. That was 3 months ago. I feel fine. The spot was sore for a few days after. With my son I was almost too numb which made a little bit more difficult to center my pushes but it ended up being fine.
Thank you. Ive never had one. But after i had my lasts, he scared me into wanting an epidural for this one lol he was all back labor and was a big baby
Honest opinions.
How do you feel about immigrants? All races, not just Mexicans. Does racism play a factor in how you feel?
How old?
How old were you when you lost your virginity?
how do you guys feel about circumcising ?
68 more days to go
How much longer do you mamas have and time sure does feel like it's standing still.
Mommies expecting. When are you due, and how are you feeling ?
I have had 2. End of story is that if I have another I am not going to go that route. The first epidural I had was fine, but had back pain years after. The second epidural I had, they checked me right after it was inserted and I was fully dilated already- it was a horror show having it put in and they had trouble removing it and I had trouble immediately after and I still have back pain (not severe).
It was a wonderful tool, it takes the pain away, but for me it is not worth it after what I experienced last time. I went through labor without one until fully dilated and will say that next time (if there is one) I will just ask for another type of pain medicine at the end before I push.
