Traumatic birth but she’s here! Baby Blakely, 9/26/19 at 4:57 pm, 8lbs 10ozs, 20.5 inches long ❤️
She was surprisingly in a transverse and posterior position so they had to make a T incision to get her out. Everyone had believed she was head down but that position would explain why level 20 on pitocin was doing NOTHING for me and my labor didn’t progress at all. Called a code blue because she inhaled some fluid as they finally pulled her out and was having a hard time breathing. I guess the cord was wrapped twice around her neck too.... 😳 I could feel them do chest compressions on her when they finally got her out. Scared the bejeezus out of us!
I wouldnt stop bleeding so I lost a bit of blood and nearly had to receive a transfusion.... going to be in the special post op unit area for our hospital stay because of the blood loss. My husband said he watched an entire jug fill up with my blood as they tried to stop the bleeding. I could tell he was freaked out but he was amazing trying to keep me calm throughout the ordeal.
Pretty sure I am officially traumatized but I feel so so blessed to have our baby girl safe and sound in our arms!
Congratulations momma!! I’m sorry your birth experience was so rough. Mine was also, and the trauma can linger. Make sure you get the emotional support you need during your recovery, too. Kudos to your husband- he sounds like a trooper. Enjoy your new little one 💜💜
Thank you! He really is a trooper! I couldn’t imagine going through all that without him! ❤️❤️
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I'm glad you both made it through! Congratulations on bringing that beautiful baby into the world! 🙏💕
