ssooo... my Daughter’s Father shows up at the hospital. what am I supposed to say? I really just want to sit here and not say anything baby girl is in my arms so he can’t hold her.
My mother and father had fought a lot and was not together. Idk about birth but my father isn't on my birth certificate. I kinda resent my mother for not letting me know my father growing up. Also if he's there now just let him see his child. Yes you had the baby alone and are very emotional so you have some resent for him. But it's his choice to be there. At least you can say you tried to let him stay and visit you and the baby. A child sometimes changes people. Just take deep breaths. In the end you know you are your child's protector and provider.
Atleast he’s there now and wants to be a part of her life . As a mother , that’s all you should wish for . All parents deserve to know and love their children.
Tell the nurses to make him leave hopefully u didn’t put him on the birth certificate that will allow him to take off with her whenever that’s why you don’t put him on there or have him near her get child support too if he’s serious tell him get a attorney
@unsolvedmysteries shit Wooster is also ! We didn't even get a phone call like we was supposed to we had them show up at our house . I was like wtf . Apparently she told them we was abusing him 😂 he was playing his game when they showed up and we said come in and look. If him playing his game alone is abusing him then sure we are 😂 at the time I just had a baby and she was jealous too.

Kindly ask him to leave if you don’t want him there. The “he can’t hold her she’s in my arms” is micro aggression so yea, it’s best he leave.

@sweetladykii, congrats on the birth of your baby ,you must be exhausted and as a mother of 3 and an older mom now I will say you’ll never forget that moment and how special it was “if your child’s father wasn’t there that’s his loss but,if he’s there now to see his baby or wants to be in the babies life their should be a adult talk on how to Co parent “it’s what is best for the child” is all that matter s my father and I were very close as he was w my 2 sisters also our mother wasn’t motherly , just something for you to think about
pregnancy is hard enough and then coping w the hormonal and emotional changes after delivery are a lot too. To add mental stress to it is unnecessary. So just make sure you’re not bending over backward to accommodate someone who isn’t worth the effort.
Tell your nurses you don’t want guests and they’ll have to kick him out
I’m sorry.. I read your post as if you weren’t excited to have him there. If you don’t want him there you can tell staff and they’ll remove him. If you want him there though, that’s okay too. I didn’t mean to jump to the conclusion that you didn’t want him there.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
