People are saying I may get less from court. Or court may make me share custody and he will take my son out of state for weeks and months at a time. That scares me. I don't want to be selfish or for him not see my son at all. I just want him to be consistent and my son to be stable
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. Child support and custody are separate issues in most states. So paying child support doesn’t automatically award custody/visitation. That’s just like if he had a court order for custody and visitation and didn’t pay his child support, you would still have to follow the order. Child support is based on several factors. Your income and his, custody and what percentage the non custodial parent is to be held accountable. My sons dad pays $775 for our son. That is based on all of the factors.

Don't pay attention to what people are saying. Family court is very unpredictable and no two cases are the same. Unfortunately if he has a relationship established with your son you may need to be willing to share time. My ex husband has rotating holidays and half of the summer on paper. He has never actually used his visitation but if he wanted to I couldn't stop him...if he is this slow about paying you child support I wouldn't worry too much about him consistently requesting visits out of state.
