Is the flu shot worth getting ? Me and my son usually do but I kinda don't want to this year

I always get it. I live in New England and the flu season causes deaths around here. My husband also has lupus so if he gets sick it can be severe for him. We don't take the risk. My daughter got it two weeks ago. My husband and myself will be getting it soon

We are getting them this year! My kids and I all had Influenza at Christmas 2 years in a row!! It was awful!

I say it’s up to you, but I never will even with the new so called egg free vaccine. I’m severely allergic to eggs and that shot so I’ve never done it and I don’t push my family to do it either. The one time I did after my son was born everyone who got the shot got the flu anyway and I didn’t and I was the only one healthy, that said a lot to me. I apologized to my family and said never again.

We get chiropractic adjustments once a month during flu season and I just Lysol my house twice a week. I’ve only had the flu twice in 22 years and believe that’s because I build antibodies every year on my own vs whatever big pharma wants to give you. To each their own though, not judging just giving you another side of it.

We get them every year. My husband is the only one who doesn’t. But he always ends up dying for a week straight. He knows that I won’t take care of/baby him because he chooses not to get the shot just because he doesn’t wanna pay for it 🤷🏻‍♀️
