I so want a perm . Waiting for my hair to grow longer though. I know it’s so 80/90s but I loved having long curly hair . Anyone still get perms?

In high school I got perms . I loved it and have been wanting one. I see they have so many different styles of perms now , even beach waves 😍
I got one once what a nightmare she used tiny curlers 😭 and I looked like 1987 lol so I kept straightening it
@mmgarcia81, lol it never did it stayed looking crunchy don’t use small ones apparently I was like what’s the point of that I could have used moose 😭

I have straight thin hair 😫 I call it thin but my stylist says it’s not thin. It’s a little pass the middle of my back .

So i k ow this is alot of work but it worked on my oldest. (Straight thin hair)
When wet use bendy straws. Roll it up and tie.
Sleep take out in morning.
Then hairspray it

Anybody ever had a perm? I want curly hair SO bad and my hair dresser says people really only actually get perms for body not like style. She says you still have to style your hair. In my mind, with a perm I could just throw product in it and scrunch it while It dries but she says that's not how it goes. Anyone with curly hair ? Anyone??

My friend just French braided my hair when we were on vacation. When I got back I just let them out and wore it curly and I got so many compliments. Now I want a perm too lol. I’m too afraid to do anything to my hair so I will stick to braids for now
