There’s some things I don’t know, and im sure someone on here does.
I had a friend that I accompanied to run some errands. I’m sitting in the passenger seat and I see her pouring Benadryl for her 1 year old in a bottle and diluting it with water and giving it to her to drink. She had a rash so that’s the reason for the Benadryl, but I’ve never seen anyone pour it and then dilute it and give a whole bottle to a 1 year old. She said it was okay, is it?
@massgirl, haven’t talked to her today, she got extremely angry at me for not babysitting her kids and she doesn’t return any of my calls or texts
@rosemom oh Lord one of those chicks ...she needs some sense knocked into her before something happens to her child that she can't come back from
@massgirl, yeah, we ended on bad terms and I honestly don’t think she would have listened anyways. She would have hit me with the “that’s none of your business” etc etc etc
I'm following because I'm curious... every doctor has my child has has never suggested mixing the medication with water
@massgirl, I know you can give a child Benadryl in some cases but I’ve never seen or heard mixing it with water and having her drink it. She said it was ok but it doesn’t hurt to ask maybe someone knows something different.
@rosemom I think the others are right you can't do it with that much water. I usually just give my daughter water and have her chase it with a swig
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Not with a whole bottle of water. A little bit is okay. My boy's doctor told me to mix their medicine with a juice or something they like to drink.
