Is it bad I don’t want any help from my mil after my surgery next week?? She keeps saying she’s going to help me with the kids but I don’t want any help. I don’t trust her to drive my daughter to school and I don’t trust her to help me with my son. I know in the end I’ll probably take a lot longer to heal but not stressing about her is worth it🙄🙄

Im the same way i dont even like her watching them. She is not a proper parent that raised my husband and my kids wont be a fresh strt to strt over i KNOW THE FEELING.

I am so glad I am not the only one!! My mil was a terrible parent and I see her talking to my kids the way she talked to my husband I HATE it!!

yea his family says NOTHING to my children. They know how i am. It issad bc i let my mom and sister get in their butts but i know they arent the same i feel my husband may think its not fair

I'm the same dont blame u. My husband gets upset cuz I refuse their help. I dont mind my mother in law it's my father in law but he always tags along with mother in law so I refuse the help. They wanted to take the baby when I got surgery in August and I said no. Their like so u could rest and I was like not thanks I have to get up every 3 hours to pump anyway. Plus I cant sleep if my kids are not home. I'm like that for what I have seem them do to my kids and my father in law dont respect what I say. My recovery did take longer but had appt today and dr. Very happy on how its healing now and no more infection. Just remember to slow down and be a couch potato. I know its hard with kids. My house was a mess after a week and a half of not doing much but now I'm cleaning room by room. Good luck and hope ur recovery fast.

What kind of surgery did you have if you dont mind me asking? I am soo scare it will take soo much longer to heal. But I am the same way o can’t sleep and be comfortable if both my kids aren’t home

my last baby came to fast and she tear me so bad. Had to have a package put for 24 hours and I didnt stop bleeding and I think it didnt heal from the inside and dr had to re open me to remove the extra tissue and he toke a cyst too from my vaginal lip. And I didn't slow down and both incision got infected. But after 3 weeks an a half I'm healing. Just have to go back in 4 weeks to make sure their both heal correctly. Got stitches removed today and it hurted.😥
