I got my 18 month old a new car seat yesterday but do her legs seem fine or is she too squished up against the back of the seat? Edit to add- my 3 year old is out of her car seat in this picture because we’re parked in the garage. I just wanted to see how my other girl looks in her new seat.
I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
I got my daughter a new car seat and I love it! It’s so much smaller than her old one and it adjusts so easily! If your looking for a seat for a small vehicle this one is good!

When should I change to a high back booster? So my son is 5&1/2 years old and about 55lbs. He still in a 5 point harness car seat. When should I change him to the high back booster seat? I have the graco 3 in one seat.
So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.

Looks like you still have one more recline to sit her up more. That may help.

I didn't say anything about rear or forward facing. I said she has 3 options for recline while rearfacing

Kids should rear face for as long as possible. It is safer. 2 is the minimum age limit to turn them forward facing. She can rear face her child until the child reaches the limits on the seat. Some seats go up to 50 pounds.

Her legs look fine my three year old his legs were like up the back of the seat now that he’s four I have him forward

Her legs are fine. Make sure to adjust her straps tighter before she rides in it.

I’ll adjust them. I didn’t have them adjusted because we were just sitting in the garage not moving haha

She’s fine. Kids are bendy. But you can make the seat more upright if you want more room in the front seat. You don’t have to though.

I have that same seat!! My daughter was rear facing in it till almost 3 years old! Her legs look fine!!
