@bubbys.mommy, lol def give it a try then. It helps. I usually meal prep on Sundays for the week. Just have everything ready & know what meals you want to make for the week. Start w/ 1 or 2 diff meals/proteins for the week to get the hang of it.I usually just do breakfast burritos if I prep breakfast too (can freeze them if needed and just pop in microwave)
@kx2girlmommy, thanks! I’m thinking I’ll meal prep just dinner for a week or 2 then work my way up to all 3 meals. I’ll end up needing to prep snacks for for my son too. But that’s a lot lol
@bubbys.mommy, welcome! You got this. I’d skip lunch though I don’t think it necessary to do that lol and I “prep” my toddler snacks by putting whatever she likes in the lil snack baggies and she just grabs it and goes about her business lol (crackers, celery, etc)
Absolutely!!! Before my babies were born, I would make as many freezer meals as possible. After the boy, with help from my in laws, my mom, and what I also had prepared, I didnt have to cook a main entree for 2 months after he was born. Took a huge amount of stress off of me.
Girl that’s what I was trying to do before I had my daughter. Did it happen? Absolutely not 🤣 now it’s a struggle because first I couldn’t eat without her getting hungry...now I can’t even Cook 😂
@bubbys.mommy I did all of my cooking while my kids napped. It was glorious!!! I made 4 pans of 2 meals a day for 2 weeks. And then my in laws and my mom also did some meals for me. It was amazing!!
