Would you take tomorrow off from work if you were in my position?
Today at the dr my son was recommended the “clean out” method. Half an ex-lax square and a full cap of miralax. The doctor said if it doesn’t bring any progress to do it again this evening. If nothing, repeat two more times tomorrow but NO MORE than that. If no progress tomorrow, he needs to go back to the dr.
I have to give him a second dose of the medicine tonight. And i have a feeling it might not work tonight. Would you take another day off work? I took today off for the dr and potential blow outs.

I have the PTO. But i just feel bad. M-W are busy at work. But obv my baby comes first

I would just wait until the morning to decide also. Id most likely call out. Did they end up doing any x rays?

No xrays. She didn’t suspect obstruction bc he wasn’t in pain when she palpated his belly

I would wait until morning and see what happens. I know when my son was clogged up for 2 weeks and went it was a blow out mess! I mean it’s so unpredictable, also a good tip if he’s potty trained I would put a pull-up on him just to catch a accident if it does happen especially if you have carpet flooring.

don’t be it’s better to go this route then them having to literally forcefully clean him out. I think he will go soon. It took days for my son to go to and I hated doing those suppositories, he would cry so bad.

really wow ,, he’s def backed up the more you don’t poop the old poop blocks your new poop making it very hard to come out, the little liquid in the glycerin needs to be squished as inserted in 1 hr he will Go to the bathroom or if your scared to do that take him to urgent care since my son turned 1 has happened 3x but now he’s 2 yrs old but ,it’s on day 3 of not pooping not 2 wks I feel that’s way too long and those were recommended by his gastro dr

Still hasn’t pooped.
11:30 am today he was given capful of miralax and 1/2 a square of ex-lax. At 6:45 he was given the same. Prune juice this morning too

Wow ;( did you use the liquid suppositories when I took my toodler to the er and have done it home for him 2x he will automatically poop in less than 20 min,the urgent cares use them as well his poor tummy has to hurt
