It sounds a bit like your parenting (or lack of) might be setting them up for future failure.
Oh lord that must have been embarrassing. How did they even manage to open a bunch of toys? Enforce a no touching policy. Or ask parent(s).
They might feel entitled to touch and grab anything and that may cause a lot more headaches in the future.
@piercedmom3, cursing will get you nowhere. I have no idea where you live but looking at a person wrong, gets you arrested? What backwards crap is this? Lol

That would be idiotic. Especially around your children. What are you teaching them? Do not do that. I said to defend yourself. If they thought you were shop lifting and tried to lock you up, would you just shrug and say ok?
They basically tried to get you to talk you into that whole situation. But leaving is best if you say you can not control yourself.
Why are they opening toys? U know they can avoid them getting to the toys right? Of course you’re going to have employees or someone following u to make sure u pay for the toys they’ve opened. They shouldn’t be able to get to the toys without u right? Hopefully they don’t open anymore or u will be buying a lot of unnecessary things/toys
