Thinking about fostering a child from our local agency ! I got the packet on more information and I'm talking with the hubbs tonight about going further. I know he will say it's my decision because I'm the stay at home mom and he's ok with my decision. We've had talks about it before and he was willing to do it also and liked the idea. Anyone on here foster children? Or have adopted children through an agency ?

That's awesome! I don't think I have time for siblings but I do how ever have Time for one child. Boy or girl. I prefer boy because I have a house full of boys and some girls who were abused have issues with men. BUT I'm willing to have either. My packet is more about adoption than it is fostering. There's very little on fostering and more on adoption.

We foster 2 kids. 18 year old and 13 year old. They both can stay till they are 21. It is a therapeutic foster care though.
