Is selling breast milk a thing? Could you really help other babies and make money while doing it ? 🤔
A lot of people sell it where I live and where I used to live as well. I feel like it’s better donating it to those babies who need it more. Some people buy it to make soaps lotions things like that to sell them very expensive. If you don’t want to donate it you can make lotions, soaps and other cool things for your baby and yourself.
I remember watching a video a couple years ago about a lady selling her breastmilk to bodybuilders. She was making a few hundred dollars a months doing it.
Ummm I'm sure you can sell it for tons of money but it won't be for babies. It'll be for the same guy buying pictures of womens feet and their used underwear soooo maybe donate? Haha
Yes, but it's like $1 an ounce and they turn around and see it for like $600 an ounce. You have to do an application and see if you qualify and they have very specific rules you have to follow. There are also weirdos that will buy it online but no way would I waste milk on that when a baby could have it. I have given mine to my nieces and given online to babies in need. I think they will let you trade milk for bags in there.
Donating is definitely a thing. I think bodybuilders do buy it though or something like that
It depends on your state- for example I live in California and it’s illegal to sell breastmilk, but I could donate it.
I’ve donated milk on Facebook groups called Human Milk 4 Human Babies. You could also ask about donating to milk banks or your closest NICU.
