Decided I’m not posting on Facebook when Finley is born. I’ll wait until the last day we are at the hospital. We had wayyyy too many random people coming to visit when Logan was born. I just remember how overwhelmed and exhausted i was.

I’ve always told the hospital staff the short list of people allowed to visit. I also posted on Facebook that we would appreciate people waiting until we got home to visit. Two people decided to show up anyways and were turned away by the nurses.

I just did that with this delivery. I had him last Saturday and didn’t announce his birth until we left the hospital and settled in at home. I finally announced his birth on Friday, so he was already 6 days old. It was really peaceful. The hospital stay was kind of stressful to begin with so it felt nice to be in control of something. I would definitely recommend waiting to announce it.
