How much do you ladies spend on fooding shopping for your family a month? And eating out or ordering food? Please write separately xx
I wish to do shopping in the UK.In Cyprus we spend much more 🤷♀️
We spend between 100 and 200 a week (includes shampoos, wash powder, nappies etc) we shop everywhere to save money x
Family of five, we spend £55-£65 at lidl and £20-£30 at tesco each week. That includes all toiletries, cleaning stuff, pet food and nappies.
We don't do takeaways or fast food. If we're going somewhere for the day I make a feast to take with us, we don't order takeaways for tea I cook every night.
My 4yo has hot meals at school, I make a lunchbox twice a week for my 3yo to take to preschool, and I make my dhs lunchbox for work, pasta and salads in the summer, soups ect in the winter.
We spend around 100 a week for food. We never eat out only on special occasions haha.
All other stuff like toiletries and nappies etc. will cost us around £60 a month
£55 a week for food shop
We get Morrison’s eat fresh boxes and when hubby is away I can use them for 5-6 dinners and some lunches for me and Hamish, they are £30 a week but that’s included in the £55
£10-20 on cleaning/soaps/nappies etc
We don’t order food but me and kids go for lunch 2-3 times a week, hamish gets a box or a meal I get a coffee so about £15-20 a week on that. We rarely go out for dinner because I’m a stressor about bedtime.
Other spends would be softplay but we have an annual pass for the outside play farm and inside soft play (£27 unlimited 12month access) or the tiny local zoo which is £3.50 entry for me and both kids. We go to the park mainly because that includes the dog walk then walk up to local cafe.
Does your husband take lunch boxes with him to work? xx
@liya.bowie, he works away so his employer feeds him. When I was working I took lunch boxes normally leftovers from dinner or just some fruit and a ham salad wrap. For ham I go to Morrison’s fresh counter and ask for the scraps for the dog they are super cheap but tend to be great bits of meat, hamish loves it on a sandwich or a wrap for lunch
We spend 70 a week for 5 ppl of food shop.
We hardly ever eat out if we have anything will be a takeaway but few and far between n thats about 25 pound
