I started noticing possible signs in my three year old when she was two, but her doctor does not diagnose until four. You can look up sites regarding it as there are three different types, but definitely speak to kids pediatrician. For me having two siblings with it made it easier for me to spot. My oldest kid may also have it so she will be checked as well since it can be different in each child.
Always talk to yoyr pediatrician it is very difficult to tell at a young age even in a 6 year old thats in school. If you have concerns with your 4 yr old try some techniques to see if structure kind of helps before jumping through the hoop of disorders. Im dealing with it right now and it is so much on my child and myself but the coping mechanisms and trchniques i tried has not worked GOOD LUCK MAMA
I could tell with my daughter as soon as she was like 2 or three she just didn’t act right she was my most difficult by far I had her young and she was premature but man she really got me into some trouble with her lying ,manipulating , running away super hyper ,impulsive she’s 14 now and her and my older ones have had adhd since they were little but I quit medication so they can try to wrangle it there self I don’t want them to rely on pills.
@cheetahgurl420 3 days late but yeah I definitely don't want to have to put him on meds I took Adderall for ADHD as a kid and definitely remember how it was I felt like a robot on and wasn't myself my mother took me off them about 10-11 years old
