How do you get experience when everyone wants at least a years experience.

Back story: I had left my full time management position for another full time management position with better benefits and bonuses. I give my two weeks and leave there and the new employer informs me that he messed up and can’t give management until I’ve been with the company for 90 days. So now I’m working as a PART-TIME cashier bringing home half of what I made at the previous job. He had to fill the position he offered me because he needed someone now not in 90 days. I just don’t understand how he can promise the world and not deliver on the promises. I would have never left my other job for this. He feels bad but that doesn’t help me in the least. We are struggling. I have been applying to every full time job I see, management or not it will be more than I’m getting now. A lot of places that pay a decent amount want 2+years management (which I have 5 years of) and 1 year call center or similar( which I don’t have) it’s getting really frustrating and I just don’t know what to do anymore.
