My daughter has started sucking her thumb.... This makes me nervous because I don't want her to have a hard time breaking the habit. I try and give her a pacifier she sucks on it for a few seconds spits it out and starts sucking on her thumb again. She just started this within the last month. Any suggestions?

It's hard I know, but just stay consistent! Our youngest is doing this too, we just keep putting it back it in lol!

I don’t really se anything wrong with sucking thwir thumbs. It’s a comfort thing for them.

@arkycanchaser, oh it is? I sucked my thumb till I was about 7 also but it didn’t mess with my teeth. That sucks. There’s clear nail polish u can put on the fingernail that tastes awful. Have u ever heard of that? Maybe u could try that on the 7 year old? Otherwise I have no tips on getting them to stop! Good luck
