@hazelcoco, only you know what is best for your situation. If he wants to take a break then just ask him how this will help, how will you both improve in the meantime and what are the goals prior to returning? (I had to asks an ex the same thing)
Give him a reason to plan if that is what he is thinking. If he has not thought that far ahead then there is more to talk about. You are entitled to answers if this is not a break up.
Being in limbo is a horrible feeling. You need a plan and goals to strengthen the relationship. Not skimp out for months at a time. I think it is a little immature if they just leave you hanging.
Usually means it over but not wanting to pull the trigger on it. Opens up opportunities for the other person to see other people while not having to deal with moving/finances and what not that happens when people break up. Sometimes it helps but most the time it doesn’t or so it seems.
I told my boyfriend I need a break because I was tired of seeing and being with him 24/7 .. lol I wanted some alone time .. didn’t have anything to do with me wanting to move on or tlk to other people.
