Stupid question I have two weeks left till the baby’s here last appointment they offered me the flu shot if I get it tomorrow at my prenatal will it help protect the baby after he’s born or just myself
I wouldn't do it so close to due date. Sometimes flu shots make u sick if u get sick n go into labor idk how the docs n nursery will handle it
@alishap1212 I got the flu one time ten years ago...never again. Especially now that the strain is so bad it's killing people

yes it scary the flu shot is important people are dying so many young infants bc people are not giving the flu shot
It will protect the baby as well. The baby won't be able to get one any time soon and with flu season approaching being in new England I wouldn't take any chances.
now I remember getting offered tdap wirh my past pregnancies but not this one I’m interested in that as well
