It depends. Holidays are around the corner, so you can always do yours earlier or closer to your due date. Whatever works best for you.

My two were January babies so doing mine in December was not an option (weather, holidays, ect) not worth the stress.

But doing one earlier or later is always an option.

Do what works for you.

I don't know what's normal but in my opinion 6 months is fine. I sure didn't feel like washing a bunch of baby clothes & getting everything situation when I almost due. I was huge and tired...all I wanted to do was relax & put my fat feet up after work. Lol

I’ve done mines about 35 weeks as well

A lot of women wait til later in their pregnancy. I can’t speak for all women but they normally do it in their last month or two. I had mine with my son at 35 weeks and I’m going to do it around the same time with this one.
