Autumn has her appointment with The Child Study Center Of Fort Worth on Tuesday! I'm excited but really nervous... We applied back in October last year and got a letter in the mail around March telling us that they have accepted our application and when her appointment was. And now almost a year later her appointment is here! She will be tested and formally diagnosed! Her school and therapists have tested her and said if they were to diagnose her they'd say autism. And her pediatrician diagnosed her with autism in July but only certain places/people accept that diagnosis. The Child Study Center is the only place in Fort Worth that can/does formally diagnose autism and other learning disabilities. And its the only place that gives a detailed diagnosis report that the state will recognize. The state won't recognize a diagnosis from any other doctor. So anyways I'm excited that its finally here but I'm super nervous as to what all they will have to say.. And according to my moms cousin (my like 2nd cousin) The Child Study Center is super strict and will call CPS on you in a heart beat... I mean the last time she was there was when my cousin was little and he's now 24.. And she's pretty Coocoo lol but apparently her hubby said something or yelled at the doctor or something and the doctor said that that must be the same way he talks to his kids and that he's abusive and called CPS on them but nothing was found. But now I'm all nervous just because I don't need them up my butt. And my hubby is kinda in denial about autumn being autistic and I worry if he says something wrong that theyll freak out. But I'm probably overreacting lol
