Guys opinions I’ve never had a newborn during flu season I told my husband I’m not comfortable with all the nieces and nephews holding the baby right away he thinks I’m being over paranoid

I had my girls in December and November so I always had germ-x on hand and made everyone use it before coming near the babies and they were just fine.

I always make sure anyone who wants to hold a new baby washes their hands first no matter what season it is. And if they have a cold or anything then it's a hard no
If you do let them hold her just be sure they wash her hands or germ X and I also made everyone put a blanket or burp cloth across them.

@bill_nye_the_russian_spy, when going to the grocery stores I always kept them in their car seats and covered if I wasn’t wearing them so strangers couldn’t just try to look at my baby. And because of medical reasons my kids and I aren’t vaccinated and they’ve been just fine. Never any major sicknesses.
All kids are gross. If you have kids in public school they arent bringing anything extra then your nieces or nephew would be. Just wash hands. Nobody touches baby if they are sick.

I usually allow my kids but I’m new to a newborn in October I’m sorta skeptical because of the illness going around I had a six month old get rsv
