Okay so i better understand the positive fetal fibronectin result. Basically it just tells that there’s a higher risk of preterm labor. But it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to happen any day now.
It’s an iffy answer. Only a NEGATIVE result would be an accurate result.
So I’m just gonna have to take it easy and watch out for worsening symptoms.

That Mom·
I had a positive fetal fibronectin result, during my last pregnancy. When the doctor did an ultrasound, I had other signs of premature labor as well. They admitted me to the hospital and I was 4 cm dialated. They provided me with meds and put me on bed rest. I delivered my baby full term.
My main symptom was really bad pelvic pains. That is actually what lead me to the doctor that day.
If you don't have any other signs or symptoms, I am sure you will be fine. Good luck, mama.

Thank you! I might ask for an ultrasound as well. If the cramping keeps happening
