I’ve been looking into vaccinations and found out infants do not have an immune system from a YouTube channel.
YouTube channel is made by a doula who’s also a mom and she’s decided to hold off on vaccinations until babies immune system improves.
Very interested to learn more about vaccinations and how it can affect an infants immune system when it’s still weak and developing.
Wonder if there’s a certain time that is healthier to be vaccinated.

While you are still trying to decide what's best for your family, I suggest you get the Flu vaccine and Tdap at the recommended time frame during pregnancy. Speak to your obstetrician, of course, prior to being vaccinated.

No problem... the Flu and Tdap vaccines are highly recommended by the CDC, during pregnancy. I think you will definitely reconsider after reading the articles...and there are plenty more online. I am glad that I can help!

With both my babes I did the normal schedule I just did one at a time so it took a lot longer! And I never did the combos. It was always one thing per shot! That’s just what we did everyone will have their own comment! I would just make sure you vaccinate but do it how you prefer like we did. Also you can schedule an appt with a ped and ask their opinion on it as well for more insight 😊

I would be interested in something like that because it seems like so many vaccinations in such a short period that it could definitely cause negative reactions in some children, especially infants.

I honestly believe that too!! To many at once for anyone isn’t good. I would do one every 2-3 weeks.

Here's my point of view. Why yes they may have a weaker immune system but how will it grow and develop if they aren't exposed to things such as vaccinations 🤷.
Neither of my kids had any issue with any vaccinations but
my Friend nearly lost her daughter to whooping cough because she was too young for the vaccine and caught it from someone in the hospital
Now I had another friend who had seizures from them. So she opted to wait till her child was older to see if she'd react like that again. She didn't.
I should state the seizures was probably from the fever not from the vaccine itself just the fever side effect that's common with vaccinations *

Taking them out to parks and allowing play dates seems like a good way to start developing their immune system and help it become stronger before the vaccinations are introduced into a very weak immune system.
Sometimes it seems like it would be best to do a few at a time or go as slow as possible.

There are some people and doctors that only do 1 vaccine at a time and it works well for them. My kids always got the combos and at recommended time. They never had an issue 🤷.
But when are you do? Seems like it'll be around RSV and Flu season so I wouldn't even do that honestly.
Neither one of those even have vaccines 😬

That’s so good to hear because I feel like the pros do outweigh the cons with vaccinations in general just not sure how strong or weak the immune system would be after vaccinations so early.
It’s normal to want to know and it’s good to ask questions.

Okay I might get crapped on for saying this but how we're doing it now that my older one got super sick from the vaccinations when he was three months and and ended up in the hospital he almost died
So we made a tough decision with our second little man we decided to only do the hospital recommended vaccines needed to take him home and we're holding off until he's at least two years old.

@mamaste it was very scary he still has health issues to this day due to vaccines (he does get them now&hes bigger so he can fight off infection and fevers)
