What do you guys think about salon facials ? Do they work? Is it worth it lol

I’ve only had one facial and it was so painful!!! It made my skin look baby bum smooth for a few days but the pain I experienced wasn’t worth it. I mean, I have an extremely low maintenance skincare routine so maybe it was just bad enough that I needed 29 years worth of gunk taken out, but it wasn’t worth it for me.
I would go once a month if I could afford it 😅

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I get a facial every 6-8 weeks and I love it. She’s really good at extractions and my face feels so clean after. If I go longer than 8 weeks then I can really tell. You have to find a good esthetician though because I’ve had other facials before that didn’t do anything for me. They only treat the surface and don’t really clean you out.
