The first couple of weeks are the hardest, for me I was close to quitting, but here we are 2 years later still at it.
Our issue was he wouldn’t latch properly on one side! I had to football hold him until he got it 🙈😅 So a good latch is key to no pain. Breastfeeding should never be painful. Definitely try some of the cream. A nipple guard always works too. Hope it works 👍🏻

Try to avoid just your nipple bringing latched try to get a good amount of areola in his mouth too.
But nipple cream sis, nipple cream...

Or nipple cream it’ll get better i promise! Once ur baby gets a good latch it gets better!
