I finally give in and decided to take my daughter to my mom for a few hrs. Oh man the peace. I miss her and I'm still worried about them getting too close but oh man the peace. I'm laid back watching my favorite show undisturbed. Might leave her for the day😂

Still, you shouldnt deny her a relationship with her grandmother. My dad was absent for the majority of my childhood, but I don't withhold his grandchildren from him. And he loves them soo much. I would be thankful that she wants to be present and take her. That's what grandmas are for.

I’m sorry your relationship with your mom isn’t great. Honestly though your child shouldn’t be denied a relationship with your mom because of that. I understand your fear but as your daughter gets older make sure she knows she can come to you for anything.

Sounds like I had a similar relationship with my mom. On top of the shitty relationship our Mom's realize they screwed up and missed out on so much of our child hood that they are 20x better grandparents then they were parents. Its nice to have someone who can watch my daughter but I totally get where you are coming from. I use to feel similar but now when I watch my mom with my daughter I'm so glad they have each other.

It's going to take me a while to feel that way. I guess I have to forgive her first. I know she knows that she messed up and it would be nice if she can apologize. I've waited for that for a long time. I used to try and get close with her but all she did was push me away. I guess being good to my daughter is her way of apologizing.
