I feel bad for my little boy his cough is really bad it wakes him up and he won't go back to sleep in less hes on someone chest and I'm not able to get him cough medication tell tomorrow hes drinking his bottle and has wet diapers and all and he woke up at 1am and now putting him back to sleep and he will most likely sleep in
Have you taken him to the doctors yet, it sounds like he needs to be seen. Be careful what kind of cough medicine you get there is not a lot recommend for kids his age as someone else said Zarbees cough medicine is ok, and don’t use Vick’s it can cause respiratory distress it’s not recommended until the age 2 years and up. They do have a natural chest rub you can use.

@neisagray946, there are no cold meds that are approved for kids under 4. Most are for 6 and up. Zarbees and other natural meds like that are ok.
@neisagray946, I am surprised there isn’t anything a 1 year old can take besides zarbees because it’s natural.

How long has he had a cough? You may consider making an appointment with his ped if it's this bad. Vicks isn't good for babies and can cause respiratory distress and make cause more mucus.

If his bottle has milk in it, it may be contributing to the cough. I've always been told no milk when they're sick to give just water. When you go to the store look at the vicks vapor rub for babies it helps a lot with congestion.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My son keeps rolling over and sleeping on his stomach when he sleeps, should I turn him on his back or let him sleep how he wants?
My baby is 6 months next month & he likes to sleep on his side. Is it bad if I roll a blanket behind him and leave it like that throughout the night? because if he goes on his back he will wake up every few min... but idk because of the whole SID thing. Example:
Got home around 11... washed lil man up and made him a bottle... asked my husband to get off his phone and help me put him to sleep... as soon as I did, my husband sat on the couch and fell right to sleep with Zach in his arms... I walked over to him and picked Zach up and he has to nerve to jump awake talking about I scared him because he thought he dropped Zach... this is why I’ve stopped asking him to hold him... he is irresponsible... I ended up setting up Zach’s stand up floor lamp, rearranging his room, making him a late night/early morning bottle, rocking him to sleep in his car seat and then moving him to his room all while my husband was knocked out in the living room.... I swear I feel like a single mother
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?

Most cough medicines have proven to not work at all which is why you won’t find any for younger kids. Usually a cool mist humidifier, less dairy and lots of other fluids help with a cough.
