No. She needs to find a buckle that is hard to open. Some are a lot more difficult than others. I once had to report a very old bucket seat that was posted for sale, I did not want some inexperienced mom buying it for cheap thinking it was okay. I hope someone offers her a good car seat or someone tells her that these are not safe. It would be horrible if someone offered to sale one of these old ones to her.
