I've decided to keep trying to nurse for now and supplement with pumping but for our first road trip to visit my in laws back in PA I might get some formula just to make it easier in the car (I might try to pump some during the day idk)
Thanks I'd at least like to be able to pass my goal of 2mths (which was how long I tried to nurse/pump my first) but ended up having to formula feed her
If you ever need formula contact your child's pediatrician and ask for samples. I used to do it all the time and I get four cans each time and they're free!!! But you hang in there and keep trying. I tried to nurse my daughter but never got enough milk to fill her up so I would give her what I had then supplement the rest with formula eventually I stopped breastfeeding at 3 months
I wasn't able to nurse my first since she was early, so to be able to pump 4.5oz is amazing to me
@armywife72515 that is awesome!!! I would never get anything more than an ounce. I tried so hard. Every day I would nurse her and then go sit in the room and pump hoping that that would produce more by the time I was done it was time to feed her again and then I go back in the room and pump again. It took a toll on me cuz it consumed my every single day and that's when I decided to give up it wasn't working anyway
@momsrmagical well it's two bottles, 2/2.5oz
I'd be careful when adding formula. If you give a formula bottle but then don't pump or nurse you are telling your body baby doesn't need that milk. And it will start to tank your supply.
Thanks for the advice, I remember that from the first time.
You should get a manual pump! Then you could pump in the car
I Am Still Deciding If I Want To Try And Breastfeed or Bottle Feed I Might Try Both...But Does Medcaid Pay For A Breast Feeding Pump???

With all this food being posted I thought this might be fun.
I’ve seen a couple posts about Panera on here, and I’ve always been curious if it’s good or not... so I think I might just try it!!

Thought some of you girls might like this. I think it's hilarious 😂

Found this on FB and figured it might be fun to try and figure out - i know some of them but not all!
🤔
Don't give up on breastfeeding. You're doing great and giving your baby the best nutrition. I'm not an expert but I'm nursing for the second time with this baby and will try to help if I can. Feel free to ask questions any time.
