Oh... you can get out of it, it just might come down to how big of assholes they wanna be about it and/or how much it's gonna be worth to you cause you'll be payin for it. Every leasing office does things differently so I'd definitely call and have a conversation with yours specifically girl.

Read the paperwork you signed when you first moved in. It will say in it how to break your lease early. The apartments I use to live in made you pay 3 months worth of rent to break the lease. A friend of mine was renting a house and found someone to take over her lease so she didn’t have to pay anything.

Really depends on where/who is leasing. If you have someone to take over the lease it probably wouldn’t be a problem.
