Why do I even bother trying to help him be a better dad. Pretty much every time I suggest he hold our newborn he might hold him for like 10 minutes then puts him down because "we dont want to get him used to being held all the time" hes not even 2 weeks old and he needs to bond with his daddy. Yet this man wonders why our 4 year old doesnt really like him and is constantly rude to him preferring mommy.

My husband is like that with our daughter. She’s so attached to me because she spends all day with me and then he comes home at night and is always too busy.

Hes not even really that busy. If he were to hold our son and pay attention to him I could get the housework done. I understand he has worked all day but I have been home with the kids all day. The least he could do is pay them 10 minutes of attention.

that’s exactly my husband too. He’s always finding things to do. I feel like he does it on purpose so he doesn’t have to spend any time with us. It’s annoying, I feel like all I do is complain all day because I can’t get anything done.
