Need help with potty training 😩
Both my 3yr old and 2yr old arent potty trained last yr i tried but it was so hard with being pregnant with my twins i did try the rewards if they use the potty but they are just so scared of the toilet idk why 😩 im lost and idk how to do it to be successful buying pullups nd diapers is really breaking the bank 😭
PLEASE HELP
Ditch the pullups altogether and switch to undies! BEST thing we did! Do they have their own potties? Like little ones? Mine was afraid to sit on the regular potty at first too.
Also maybe they don’t want to because they see the babies wearing diapers. My son was interested in potty training before he was 2 and enjoyed sitting on his potty but once I had my daughter he lost all interest in potty training because he saw the baby in diapers.
Yes they want to then they dont. Even when i was pregnant they still didnt want to but i already told them they have to my 3yr old will be goinf to school next yr and so will my 2yr old and i need them potty trained
What worked for my son was just leaving him naked lol or in his underwear. If he had a pull up on he thought it was okay to go in it instead of the toilet.
When you let them have their accidents and feel the wetness they realize they dont like it.
@3plus2is5 Take them to the bathroom every hour. Even if they cry. Every hour no matter what. Watch them for signs they are about to pee or poop and get them on the toilet.
@divinely_favored it just started lol no going back no mor
@3plus2is5 You got this. It'll suck at first but I swear it works. You just have to keep being consistent and try not to get frustrated. There will be several accidents but once they see they dont have tge diaper to catch it and its not coming back they get it.
We tried for 4 mos with pull ups. Got rid of the pull ups and he was good!
Stop putting them in diapers and pull ups. It's confusing for them. Take them to the potty every two hours. Be prepared to clean.up a few accisents.
Once they have a couple accidents they catch on quick.
Pay attention to potty cues and take them to the bathroom. Once we completely got rid of diapers my 4yr old was fully trained in a week. Don't put them back in diapers.
Ive tries for 2 weeks with no pullups before i had my twins and they just wouldnt i was consistent with them but they scream and cry when i put them on the chair or they just laugh when they use it on themselves 😩 i tried the no giving them anything to drink after a certain time.
@3plus2is5 You gotta be persistent. You are the boss. Not them. They aren't going to stop peeing in a diaper or pull up. They've done that since birth. You have to take away that crutch.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
