Ugh. Been through a bunch of colds lately. Can’t swear it all works but here’s what we do. We’re all taking elderberry gummies. It is supposed to help prevent and reduce symptoms/duration. I run a vaporizer that is also a diffuser with a kid safe essential oil called germ buster. Supposed to have antibacterial properties that help knock out some germs in the air. Also use one called sniffle stop for sleeping. Could be a load of crap but I’m up for trying anything. Clean everything. Love the Lysol aerosol spray for these times because you can mist it all around and keep up with things like doorknobs and railings etc. I even Lysol the leather couch a few times a day. Constant hand washing.

Hand washing constantly, you can use bleach or disinfectant wipes and spray. Hand sanitizer. Usually they are contagious before symptoms even show so the likely Hood of the germs being spread already is pretty high. I would pump them with victim c. Depending on their immune system they may not get sick.
