Tea...
Caffeine free with full fat milk and a sweetener?? I'm gonna start giving Noah tea instead of a bottle at bedtime just wondering what you guys give?
Thanks for posting i give adam a cuppa every now n then if ive got no blue top milk hes been fine and lovees it, i was and so was my oh brought up on tea in a bottle n were fine never had any problems with low iron or anything so suppose it goes by how much! I cnt see anything wrong with it every now n then bur wouldn't every day 🙄 xx
Yeah me and my oh used to have a bottle with tea in for bed.. I agree I can't see it hurting him a couple times a week! Thank you for this comment. Makes me feel less bad about mentioning tea😂😂
When Maya finished breast feeding, id warm up cows milk for her before bed time :) xx
Maya didn’t have tea until 2.5 yo,
She’s only had it a few times (it was her and my aunties bonding time lol, my auntie loved her tea)
Maya only had breast milk, water and a bit of cows milk until then :)
She’s had hot chocolate a few times, I get the dark chocolate proper cocoa
Don’t add any sugar :)
I’ve not given Maya juice xx
I just give him water that and breast milk is all he’s ever had as he refused full fat milk
If you're looking at giving him tea throughout the day try some herbal teas. We give Theo camomile and peppermint a lot. He loves to sit there with a cup of peppermint with dad at the end of the day xx
@nicolemariehooperxo also instead of caffeine free tea try giving him redbush, it's a naturally caffeine free herbal tea that can be drunk like English breakfast tea, you can add milk and sugar to it if you want :) I drank it through pregnancy and in the early days of breastfeeding before I switched to herbal teas :) you can pick it up in Lidl and Aldi, it's super cheap in there but expensive for tea in most other shops! x
Tea absorbs iron causing iron deficiency and it’s also hugely to blame for tooth decay even when brushed regularly xx
I wouldn’t give tea hun it’s no good makes them wee more and greater loss of calcium and also fills the stomach with less nutrients I’d stick with milk if you really wanted to then a spoonful of nesquick milkshake would be better than tea.
Xx
Can I ask why? There’s nothing good in tea for a child. Stick with the milk.
I dunno, me and my oh used to enjoy a bottle of tea at bedtime. Could I warm up full fat milk maybe? Rather than baby milk? X
@nicolemariehooperxo, yeah just warm up some full fat milk.
Still bad for teeth even without the caffeine and no sweetener 🤷🏼♀️
Personally I’d give hot Chocolate or Horlicks instead of tea :)
No sweeteners :) xx
So my doctor said not to drink tea it can give you contractions and cause premature labor 😩 anyone heard of this?
Does anybody give their baby manzanilla tea for gas & stomach pains ?
Has anyone tried raspberry leaf tea to help with bringing on labor? Thought I give it a try
Is it ok to give a child tea!? That's caffeine right?
3rd trimester mommies does regular tea give you Braxton hicks
Is it like an old wives thing to give babies tea? I remember my Mum and Aunts etc always asking if I'd given Morgan tea when he was a baby. I was like I hadn't even thought of it. My Mum was like you had it all the time 😂 I let Max have tea now & then because he loves it. I use decaf & just milk no sugar or sweetener. But just a treat not his everyday drink as such. Morgan's never liked it!
