How many breastfeeding moms still get their period? I'm only breastfeeding and my baby is 9 weeks and I'm getting periods. My doctor said I shouldn't bleed at all. I'm so worried about cervical cancer.

So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
So my last period was the 29th of last month n the last 2 days I'm having bad cramps but no blood or nothing . I get dizzy n light headed . My next period is the 24th idk what's wrong plus I'm nauseous n tired
strange question for breastfeeding mamas..... I haven't had a period since having my baby due to breastfeeding, but today I noticed that I was having some pretty bad cramping.... is my body still acting like I'm getting a period? or could I actually be feeling my body ovulate? I pumped for my son and my period returned while doing that so I have no experience in the whole no period/breastfeeding thing lol

That's weird for your doctor to say. Breast feeding never stopped my periods. I also never met anybody that didn't get their periods while still breast feeding. It's not as common as you think.

I didn't get it for my youngest until I weaned her off 16 months later.

I bled with my older ones. For my youngest I didn't. Every pregnancy, labor, child and post partum is different.

One of my friends on here got it back after a month with both her babies. Your doctor is scaring you for no reason

I didn’t get mine until a month or two of stopping nursing. But everyone is different.

With my toddler I got my period at 9m postpartum and with this one I haven’t got it yet and with my first two I got it about 3m postpartum and I can’t remember with the other but it’s definitely different with each. You shouldn’t be worried.
