My oldest has Mild autism he’s 17 now and my other son that’s 7 now is Delayed only and my other son that’s 4 is is also Delayed my and she has Angelman syndrome 😔
My oldest 🙋🏻♀️ therapy 5-6 times a week since last august, diagnosed mid this june. And starts special needs pre-k on thursday! Non verbal as well as a diagnosis of hyperkenisis
What made you girls question your children?

I'm incredibly lucky to have so many autistics in my family. I know first hand how an autism diagnosis isn't the end of the world. I've seen with my own eyes, that being autistic doesn't automatically mean that you can't be a functioning member of society and lead a happy fulfilling life.

my son was diagnosed with a developmental delay but autism isn’t fully ruled out yet for us. He started a language program a week ago. I have noticed improvements in speech but he definitely isn’t where he should be for his age with speech or behavior.
The only weird things I see is he’s been having these meltdowns that can last like 10-20 mins, and he likes lining his toys up but not on a routine or repetitive pattern.
But then again my oldest did the same thing lol
What are signs of autism? I feel like there is so many? There is a few things I see my son doing but then I’m like there is no way he is.
Google it girl . Your right there is so many . It’s best to go to a professional to diagnose it .
@momofboth, I’ve asked his dr about it and she says he’s not.
@mommakayla18, no I mean a doctors that specializes in that field. You can’t just go to a regular doctor . What signs is he showing ?
I haven't had my son tested but he definitely has many of the signs of being on the spectrum for sure.
@kambam, yes I can see improvement in some things . Not his speech tho
@momofboth teaching my daughter a nephew sign language really jump started their verbal speech.
There's a great Dvd series called Signing Time that you can buy on Amazon that the kids really love.

@momofboth does your son get actual ABA? That helped speech for us.
@amouryaya09, Still trying to progress . Still praying he will talk soon .
@momofboth, has he started therapy? My son is picking up more words but not fully talking
