#birthstory Ok ladies this is my birth story💙💜
I had my doctor appointment on Thursday August 22nd and I had a scheduled induction on that Monday the 26th so I went in and my OB had told me there was an opening for an induction the next day and I was in a lot of pain so I took it.
Thursday was a very crazy day preparing for baby Levi who was coming in a day so I was praying that the baby would stay in until the next day because the only reason I got induced was because with my oldest I did not get an epidural and let me tell you it was the WORST pain ever so I was very excited I was getting an epidural this time
So it’s the next morning and my mother in law comes to my house to watch Olivia and my hubby and I are on our way when my big pregnant butt makes him turn around and go to Starbucks. You bet I ordered about all the food on the menu because I remembered the hospital won’t let me eat so we finally get to the hospital and after filling out all the paperwork I finally got a nice room.
I met the BEST nurse ever she was so sweet and she walks in the room and says I heard your plan is to be as pain free as possible that sounds like a great idea!
I loved that nurse so much anyway they started me on pitocin and in two hours I was at three cm and that was when I decided to get the epidural
And around the three hour mark my water naturally broke! Five hours on pitocin and I was only six cm dilated then bam I felt and urge to push and hour later and I was already at 10cm! In three pushes sweet Levi was out and right away pooped on me💩
💙Levi 6 pounds 15oz 19in long and healthy
Born at 5:32pm on August 23 2019💙
Congratulations. Now you have an interesting story to tell him when he is older and asks about his birth
