Anyone else have an extremely active 2 year old? I mean he runs and screams or he just dives right on me, sits on my head, plops himself down on me wherever and thinks it hilarious. When I'm sitting he will either try to climb on my shoulders or get inside/ underneath my shirt. Or he thinks its funny to hit us with toys. He's really gentle with the baby though and he has calm moments but out of no where he will just "attack" me. He tries to jump off the bed. I'm not worried, his behavior is controlled but I just don't recall the others being so....wild.
Is it a boy thing? A born after 2010 thing? An older mom thing?

It might be a new baby thing. He might slightly feel a little jealous and seeking more of your attention. It's different with every child your other ones might not have been jealous of each other but it's possible he's jealous of the new baby. Or he's just being a boy

If that's the case maybe you can have him try to help you out with the baby more. Ask him to pick out her outfit for the day get you a diaper throw it away. You know things to help him feel more involved and he'll be getting the extra attention he's looking for

We involve him a lot. We really make it a point for him not to feel left out. He's such a good helper and he gets alone time with each of us and if he wants one of us while we have the baby, we switch. Which is why i don't think it's acting out for attention.
We have concluded that he is just crazy😂😂

Sounds like my toddler when he wants attention. He gets like that when me & bf are laying down .

Oh we can't even lay close together when he's up. He will squeeze in between us and tell us no no and move our hands if we're touching

@momsrmagical yeah it balances out because right now he's cuddling on my lap watching paw patrol ( God in tired of that show) lol
