Need help getting my 3 year old to poop in the potty! He pees like he’s been doing it his whole life, he’ll even clean up after himself, but he throws a tantrum if you sit him down to poop (he pees standing). He has a seat so he won’t fall in, but he’d rather poop in his underwear, then complain that he’s dirty and walking funny......

Both my kids were like that with pooping. They were pee trained forever before they started pooping on the potty. They would ask for pull-ups. Just be patient it’s probably because he’s scared of the big toilet even though u have the seat for u! Good luck

Thanks. He needs to be trained for school, otherwise I wouldn’t rush it. Maybe seeing his classmates do it would help

haha my kids wouldn’t dare poop at school. They would hold it till they got home! But hopefully he gets on the potty soon for ya!
