What is a reasonable price for babysitting a 2 year old on Saturdays only from 6am to 7pm?
Someone asks me to babysit their child.
50 is to cheap I was just trying to make money on the side and I wasn’t doing anything on Saturday’s
@rosemom, don’t feel bad!!! $50 is not over charging AT ALL! She should be blessed to know someone for doing it at that price honestly. Can’t expect to have someone watch your kid for free lol
@alr0407, I didn’t even factor in that it’s every Saturday the whole Saturday and that’s the only day my husband has off too.
Depends. Are you providing meals?? Is this someone you know well??
@rosemom, I wouldn’t do it. And in the future, just remember that you set the terms of what you charge. It’s ok to be firm.
@bunsinmyoven, she turned my offer down so I didn’t even have a choice lol I just wanted to have extra money in my wallet
@flamingfiremom, that’s diff lol
@flamingfiremom, I get you, if it’s some one I know I’ll tell them to get me Starbucks and iced coffee lol

Lol made my night...when you tell your OWN family you cant babysit their kid🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Ugh, how am I supposed to trust these people to babysit my LO when they can't even babysit her correctly when I'm right here. 😤😩
I'm really sick of babysitting. but the more money the better I guess😐
should I babysit just one child without license?
Would anyone babysit 2 kids 9 to 5 Monday through Friday for 125 a week?? Someone asked me if I would but idk :/
50 is way too cheap I think. For a 13 hour shift (which is what that is) I would ask for $100 minimum... that’s only 7.60 and hour... which is still way cheap for a 2 year old! Most baby sitters charge like 12-15 and hour to be honest. If she is turning you down for $50 then that’s on her lol
