What are the pros and cons?
I have a consultation with my OB about it. I don’t think I want anymore children.

My mother had it done, her periods are super heavy & the cramps are a lot stronger. I wanted to get it done but after doing some research, I’m gonna pass.
@mamabearof3____, look up “Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome” even though there’s a small percentage of women who actually have these symptoms.... there’s still always a chance!

@dope.ass.mom I had that after my tubal ligation in December. The first 4 months was rough, I’m doing better now but I do regret my tubal.
I have no issues and sometimes my periods lighten up by the 3rd day
They made it really difficult for me because I’m so young but I’m glad I got it. I don’t like birth control (any form of it) and was a great option

I had bad luck with birth control so I had my tubes tied and it’s been awful! I have really heavy periods now and they are extremely painful. Sometimes I get 2 periods a month now. It’s also screwed up my hormones and I now have hot flashes and night sweats, and horrible mood swings. Never had any of these issues before.
