I was on Skyla IUD but got it removed this month on the 23rd, I still had my period the whole time I was on it but I missed my last one and I’m now 21 days late.

That looks faulty. I’d go buy a pink dye test like First Response & retest.

I thought so too, I just put a digital one in my cart or do you think pink dye would be better?
Lindsey··
you could definitely try a digital. But pink dye would be my first choice for the non digitals!!

Thank you, I’ll have to google the difference ☺️

I would re-test. I was on the IUD for awhile too and got pregnant like within days of getting it removed, but then had a miscarriage about 7 weeks into the pregnancy... the dr didn’t tell me that I had to wait 3 months after the removal before trying so I had 2 miscarriages 😞 if you are trying and you’re not pregnant this time around, try and wait so you don’t have to go through what I went through!

Ohmygod! They didn’t tell me that, they said I could right away 😭

noooo don’t :,( the reason I had a miscarriage is because my uterus was not “fluffed” (what my new OB says”... it becomes thinned when on the IUD and it needs to layer back out. It needs to be “fluffed” back to normal so that it can carry a baby. If you are pregnant I will pray that what happened to me doesn’t happen to you. But I got pregnant twice in a row after getting my IUD out and had one miscarriage at 7 weeks and another at 12 weeks and had to have a D&C... it was very traumatic 😞 if you’re not pregnant I highly recommend waiting. Not worth the pain and suffering

I was thinking that too :/

That’s a faulty test! I would buy a pink dye. I got pregnant with our 4th immediately after I removed the Mirena. So it’s definitely possible that you’re pregnant.
