I agree car seat safety is important. I assumed the child was under age and forward facing. Glad to see the child was the correct age by law and the seat was installed correctly. This was more of a consider extended rear facing situation instead of the mom being neglectful. So sad this happened to her.
Oh ok, I didnt even read it. The title made it sound like a neglectful parent forward facing too soon. They did hot a stonewall or something right? Could've happen to a bigger kid too possibly
@mommy_of_monsters, yeah says a brick pillar. Yeah the car looked pretty bad. An older kid probably would of got hurt too. The grandma wants to make a point that if you have a smaller 2 year old let them stay rear facing until they are a little bigger which makes sense.
That’s so sad and it could have been prevented which makes it worse.
Exactly. Even when my sisters and dad watched my kids i let them buckle my kids in and they asked me to make sure everything was ok. People get so offended being corrected. It could literally save their life
@mommy_of_monsters, same with my parents they asked me to show them how to buckle the car seat. I don’t get why people get so offended because you are making sure their child is safe!
