I gave birth 2 weeks ago today and already thinking about birth control the hospital I had my c section at is catholic so getting your tubes tied (that’s what I want ) isn’t allowed there so essentially I have to heal the whole 6 weeks and than go to another hospital to go and get yet another surgery done . I told my husband that I think him having a vasectomy would be easier because it’s not as invasive and healing would be shorter . I feel like I have suffered enough with surgery and I’m over it !

He agrees to the vasectomy it’s a lot about taking days off of work because he’s starting a new job tomorrow and I’m a stay at home mom so either was a tubal or vasectomy will require heal time and missed income and he’s already missed a lot of time from his former employer because my pregnancy required weekly nsts 2x a week because of my BMI and baby had an arrhythmia . This was my 5th c section 6th pregnancy and honestly I don’t want anymore kids . Husband agrees with me that we’d like to have our golden years without raising kids lol

The hospital I delivered my 4th at was also Catholic, and I was able to get my tubes tied. My proposal had to get passed through a committee, my OB took care of everything, and it was approved within a month. Maybe they can do that for you? Have you had all vaginal births or have you had csections? Are you high risk at all?
